When I am not busy helping our customers protect what matters most, as a founding member of the Bullard Chamber of Commerce and Lake Palestine Kiwanis organization, I provide my time and financial support to community events.

My wife of 42 years, Beth, and I enjoy traveling and spending time with our children and grandchildren. My passion for outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping and mountaineering, have led me on many outdoor adventures with The Boy Scouts of America, such as having completed all the High Adventure Bases (Philmont, Sea Base, Northern Tier and Summit). Locally, I am Committee Chair for Scout Crew 369 in Tyler, Texas, with plans to take Venture crew to Iceland in 2024. Nationally, I am on the Venturing Committee and assisted the Sub Camp program for older youth programs at the 2023 National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia.
